  • Roscommon Way Extension

    • Client Project Manager for Roscommon Way Extension – Phase 1 Scheme on Canvey Island within the Thames Gateway Region and funded by Community Infrastructure Fund.

      Client Project Manager involved with project management, liaison with ECC’s Planning Officers, Castle Point Borough Council, East of England Development Agency, Morrisons Supermarket and Land Restoration Trust, liaison with Statutory Utilities, Pipeline Operators and Health and Safety Executive and liaison with Natural England and Mouchel Group culminating with Planning Consent granted for Roscommon Way Extension on 29th January 2010.

      Client Project Manager involved with Highways Agency’s (HA) Framework Agreement and ECC’s Procurement Group in the tendering procedure for Roscommon Way Extension. Review of Contract documents prior to issuing to Tenderers via ECC BRAVO software. Tender analysis and award of Contract to successful Contractor, and debrief to other unsuccessful Tenderers with assistance from ECC’s Procurement Group.

  • Scheme Validation Requests

    • June 2013-April 2014
    • Essex Highways (Ringway Jacobs Ltd)
    • Validation Engineer attending Scheme Validation Meetings with representatives of Essex County Council (ECC) Highway Liaison Officers (HLOs), the Essex Highways (EH) Design & Consultancy Manager, and the Network Manager reviewing and determining policy matters for ECC’s Members Local Highways Panel’s (LHP) Scheme Validation Requests (SVR) and recording outcomes of the meetings. Validation Engineer planning and undertaking the subsequent SVR Site Visits throughout the County of Essex. I produce comments on each of the LHP proposals and, if necessary, determine alternative solutions through discussions with appropriate ECC & EH Officers. I liaise with, and gain approval from, the respective EH’s Senior Engineer for that Area before submitting a response back the HLOs in a timely manner for their next LHP meeting.

  • Sluice No.7 Reconstruction

    • Providing CDM advice and professional services and attendance at meetings with site personnel involved with the project and assistance with the completion of HSF for the client.

  • A127 Route Management Strategy Phase 1

    • Principal Engineer, acting as Client Liaison, involved with technical advice to Network Manager and to assist with co-ordination of multi-disciplinary design teams and contractor for the installation of Average Speed Cameras.

      Involved as Client with Principal Contractor in respect of the new Site Waste Management Plan Regulations 2008.

  • Chelmer Valley Park & Ride Bus Lane

    • CDM Monitoring of Site Staff, Principal Contractor and Contractors for compliance with CDM regulations involving interviews with site personnel involved with the project and the completion of relevant Reports for the client.

  • Basildon Enterprise Corridor

    • CDM Monitoring of Site Staff, Principal Contractor and Contractors for compliance with CDM regulations involving interviews with site personnel involved with the project and the completion of relevant Reports for the client.

      Attended the Basildon Enterprise Corridor opening ceremony held on 25th May 2011, the scheme was officially opened by the performed by Chairman of Essex County Council.
